CSABA SZÁSZI EXPERIENCED EXCITING WEEKS

September 2024 was a particularly exciting time in the life of Csaba Szászi, the head of MFS Defense Zrt.'s ballistics station. The international IPSC competition of two consecutive weekends also brought him good recognition.

The GECO IPSC MASTERS shooting competition on September 13-15, 2024 sponsored by RWS was held in Philippsburg, Germany. All the 483 competitors from 11 countries tested themselves on the traditionally difficult courses. The 15 courses that were built could be completed with a minimum number of 288 shots, and targets placed at a distance of 40-50 meters was not uncommon either. Moving targets were present on almost every course, which was a great challenge for everyone. Csaba achieved sixth place in the standard senior category with a performance of 72%.

On September 21-22, 2024, the Winners Challenge Handgun Match Level III held in Fót. Csaba participated in the competition, which was also the 2024 Hungarian National Championship. The 13 courses built could be completed with 240 shots, on which 180 competitors from 10 countries compared their skills. It was a technical competition, the course design resulted in exciting and thought-provoking courses. There were lots of moving, running targets, both near and far metals. Csaba achieved first place in the standard senior category, which means not only the top step of the competition podium, but also the 2024 Hungarian Champion title in this category.

In competitions, Csaba uses the 9×19 Luger FMJ-FP 10.0g produced by MFS. used ammunition that performed excellently and flawlessly both times.
